Geólogo Trader Newsletter - February 2026
Andina Copper thoughts, internationalisation and US LLC tax paperwork tips for this time of year, my entire portfolio including a new 9% position, and my next moves in South America.
Just arrived in the city of wine and, surprisingly, great steak, Mendoza, from Toronto and New York.
I caught up with Steve Smith, one of the greatest cricketers of the last 30 years who’s based in New York.
Great city, but after talking with some friends who live there, there is literally no way you could base yourself there long term without selling a tech company, being Steve Smith or something similar.
State taxes as well as federal taxes on top of a very expensive cost of living make it hard to justify as a base when you’re trying to building something.
In saying that, it is obviously a city where people of status from all over the world seem to have some kind of connection or piece of it in some way.
So the cost of living is probably justified.
In this edition, I’ll run through;
Andina Copper, personal thoughts and updates
My fully compliant tax free setup - US LLC fillings time of year (for those who do it)
Entire investment porfolio updates (yolo-ed back into a stock I use to hold)
Plan for the next month in South America (major decisions)
Apologies for the delay on this newsletter - I realise we’re well into March here.
