The fascinating thing about business decisions is they affect every aspect of society, from how we invest in research, to how people conduct their daily lives. It requires therefore a broad education and a profound understanding of basic psychology.
To give a simple example: should you invest in manufacturers of electric vehicles? Are they actually the future or are you headed for financial complications with this approach? Well you should read my article: why piston engines can outcompete EVS if you had a knowledge Renaissance.
Suppose you want to assess investing in Jeff Bezos' or Elon Musk's space technology? Well you should read my article: the Magnificent E-rocket.
Suppose you're thinking of investing in quantum computing as the big new thing that's going to be a massive disruptor? Well you certainly should read some of my articles in particular: unmasking quantum mechanics: when did magic become science.
What if you're thinking of investing in the Trump families company that's planning on going public to build a fusion reactor? Well you definitely should read by article titled: who says the sun is not a fusion furnace? Dinosaurs that's who! There I explain that it's impossible to get energy fusing atoms where some leftover mass magically turns into energy.
Or suppose you would like to take advantage of this spectacular knowledge Renaissance and make a fortune? Try reading: I sent this letter to TVs shark Superstar Barbara Corcoran under the subject title: we desperately need your social media skills to save civilization.
If you don't want to become the richest person on earth taking over piston engine production, maybe you'd like to just be incredibly rich helping me get these ideas out? Try reading my article titled: why do we accept such ridiculous ideas as science? Then you can make wise business decisions!
Thanks for the info, Jordan. I have no plans to leave the U.S., but I live vicariously through you. When I was younger I did adventurous stuff, too. Do you have time for a girlfriend anymore or is work consuming all your time?
This is a great guide to the practical steps required to become a Sovereign Individual.
I’d also add it requires a mental shift from what your family, friends and upbringing will have likely subtly influenced you to think like. I’d really encourage anyone reading this to read “The Sovereign Individual” (book) as it’ll fully crystallise your intuition that something isn’t quite right with being a regular citizen in western nations into a fully developed, communicable understanding of what’s going on in the world and why you’re taking this new direction, which may be very difficult for family and friends to understand.
A good understanding of Austrian Economics and Libertarianism is also vital. For that I’d read Atlas Shrugged - Ayn Rand, Choice - Robert Murphy, Anything by Doug Casey.
Thanks for the no frills blueprint! I am from Germany and have my LLC in the US. Many Americans think that the IRS is bad, but compared to the German Finanzamt it is a cuddly puppy. No idea about Australia but I can see it being similar. So, even ending up with a partial tax obligation in the US, is not that bad, in my own experience.
Excellent!! Thank you. Succinct and timely. I'm in the process of wrapping up in the middle east and will not be going back to the UK. I had considered South America but I don't want to be too far in case my family need me. So I'm looking into options around Europe. The ITIN is the sticking point currently.

Pretty solid path description. Though, are there workable alternatives that don't involve US at all? For those of us who are sanctionally-challenged.

I too would be curious toward Jordan's decisions on Paraguay as for Uruguay.
